By the River Mtkvari 5
I took this photo beneath the Peace Bridge, a modern pedestrian bridge at the Old Tbilisi section of the Georgian capital. I included a section of the steel beam of the new bridge (upper left corner) to blend with the silhouette of the medieval Metekhi Church and King Gorgasali statue overlooking the Mtkvari River. A similar image was included in my previous post about the Metekhi Church but without the steel beam.
This is the last post for this series. Stay with me as we move on to the ‘wine lands’ of Georgia. 🙂

And my comment must start at the landing page of mine for today. Just got up and while lying on my bed, took my mobile to check my email. Got your post notification. I read it on the email itself.
I had to click on the post and read on your blog, for it being so beautifully captured. Mobile screen seemed smaller. Turned my laptop on and came straight to your blog. Haha… you are a mobilizer Mr. Captain, and you moved a lazy bug like me.
Nice one up here and explored more of your links. Have great stuff to learn, explore and understand. Will keep dropping by every now and then.
