Children of Papua 17
Yes, there is a basketball court in this elementary school but it consists of just a makeshift ring on a dirt floor and yet these 5-member teams still seemed to be having an intense game on the mud. They must be really good on a standard court. I wonder.

Gotta give them a lot of credit for adapting and “going with the flow.”
Yes, indeed. Thanks, Gina.
They are used to play in the mud, won’t do them good to play on a dry field
Can be that or their experience in the mud would make playing in standard court too easy for them. That’s what I’m wondering about. Thanks, scrapydo.
Kids will have fun, no matter what!
True. Thanks, Angeline.
They have a dandy place to play anyway! Warm and sunny all year round eh?
Good point. Thanks, John.
That is amazing… how do they dribble in the mud?!?!
boys are boys… snow and mud don’t stop a great game.
Right. I miss being a boy
I thought men never really grow up. *laughing …. you gave me that one for free.
We never do. We just shift to bigger toys and more stupid games as we age. And so what I miss are smaller toys and simpler games such as this one on the mud.
Not too late …. it’s easier for big boys to become small boys again, then it’s for us big girls to be small. Just go for it.
