Celebrating A Year of Off-the-Beaten-Track Photos and Tales

Equestrian Moon
The first post of A Traveller’s Tale at WordPress was on the 21st of July last year. Now, some 200 posts later, accompanied by more than a thousand photos, encouraged by dozens of award nominations and more than 60,000 hits, and supported by more than 2000 peers; A Traveller’s Tale is about to celebrate its first year anniversary (Cut the cake! Pop the champagne! Send in the clowns!
).
And so, to celebrate this milestone, I’m hosting a feast — well, a visual feast, at least — by posting a series of photo galleries throughout the month, featuring some of my best photos and tracing the evolution of this blog from its humble beginnings to what it is now. Let this be my modest way as well of expressing my deepest gratitude to all of you for being there to inspire, to share thoughts with, to encourage and provide company in exploring the often lonely off-the-beaten-track corners of the world. This also goes to the many who chose to be silent listeners and voiceless observers to the visions and musings of this restless traveller. I know you’re there.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Let the fireworks begin!
