Children of Papua 16
We just arrived from Daru Island at this seaside village by boat and were wading towards shore when this boy sprang from out of nowhere, excitedly announced, “Papa!”, and ran towards one of my local guides. The excitement he showed told me that it’s been a while since he last saw his dad.
