Children of Papua 20
I chose this scene, one of my favorite photos, to be the final image for this series, Children of Papua (Yes, the series has finally ended!). I caught them already on a boat and ready to depart this dugout park in Kiunga and so I didn’t get to interview any of them to find out who they were and where they were going. I can only guess that the children were primary school kids and the lady was their teacher and they were going on a trip — a fitting finale to the long series. I read the thumb-up sign of the boy in yellow as saying that they’re going to be okay. I truly wish we can say that for the rest of the children of Papua.

Very nice this photograph. I am sorry to see you are done with the Papua exposure, but know that your next subject will be an equally exciting journey of photography, discovery, and insight.

Hello. Yes, WordPress is hosting my blog and setting up a new WordPress account is easy and free, although you can upgrade certain features for an annual fee.
