Dugout 11
The one thing I noticed while travelling on the Fly River is that those who are likewise navigating the waters on a dugout, whether they are on the long motorized ones zooming past or on the small paddled ones rhythmically — almost poetically — drifting by, would most probably wave a friendly hand. These boys are enthusiastically doing the gesture with bright smiles against an equally lively background of bright green river reeds.
